Arkansas Traveler is an old American Folk Song made popular by Sanford Faulkner, an Arkansas fiddler, who was responsible in large part for the story forming the basis of the song which was the official song of Arkansas from 1949 to 1963 and the state historical song since 1987. The tune is often played by old-time and bluegrass bands, and it has been featured in 20th century movie cartoons. This arrangement is for an Easy Intermediate Violin, Fiddle, or Mandolin with an easy intermediate piano accompaniment. It is perfect for recitals, festivals or school programs. A separate sheet for the violin is provided along with the score.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
