Symphony No. 5 in E minor, Op. 64, was composed by Tchaikovsky in 1888. This theme from the second movement is often referred to as the Andante Cantabile. Its haunting melody begins quietly then builds to a climax which recedes into silence. It is arranged here for EASY INTERMEDIATE VIOLIN with a PIANO ACCOMPANIMENT. A separate sheet is provided for the violin. Similar arrangements of popular classics for violin by McIntire include Schubert's Impromptu and Schumann's Traumerei also available at this web site.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
