Published by John Burkett (A0.1349715).My Prelude on the hymn tune Webb ("Stand Up, Stand Up, for Jesus") was conceived for a three-manual organ. The tune is stated four times, twice in the right hand, once in the left hand, and once in the pedals. Each statement is in a different key, the first in G major, then B major, then D major, and finally E major. In the first, second and fourth statements reiterated chords in triplet rhythm provide the accompaniment, while in the third statement the accompaniment is provided by parallel fourths in duplet rhythm. I have provided a full-length recording to aid the prospective buyer in the decision-making process. I encourage you to search the Sheet Music Plus or the Sheet Music Direct website for other hymn arrangements of mine, some for organ and others for piano.
