This tango, "A Orlando Goñi", is a masterpiece dedicated to his friend and pianist, who passed away at the age of 31 but left a deep mark on tango music due to his particular way of playing the piano.
Gobbi was known as a great violinist, but he was also a gifted pianist. This score is a transcription of his composition from the only record left of him playing the piano in Radio El Mundo in the last years of his life.
