The Antarctic Also Exists is a neoclassical piano prelude composed in Bremen, Germany, on 19 and 20 October 2017. Its duration is about 2'10", at a relatively middle-fast pace of 130 bpm. Resist the temptation of playing this piece much faster, you might lose control quite soon.
The title is an allusion to Ludovico Einaudi's Elegy for the Arctic - no musical quotations and of course no derision. Just a reminder that the South also exists. After all, Yours Truly was born in Argentina.
