Basada en la obra Tolnai lakadalmas por Eduard Reményi (Violinista colega de Brahms) y József Rizner
(WoO = Sin número de opus) Por: Johannes Brahms Nissen (Hamburgo, 7 de mayo de 1833 - Viena, 3 de abril de 1897) Compositor, pianista y director de orquesta alemán del romanticismo. Danzas húngaras (En alemán: Ungarische Tänze) Serie musical de 21 danzas húngaras, donde 3 danzas son composiciones originales numeradas como 11, 14 y 16 y las restantes 18, adaptaciones musicales del Folklore húngaro. Originalmente compuestas para piano a cuatro manos, luego 10 arreglos para piano solo y orquestación original de las danzas 1, 3 y 10. Las demás han sido orquestadas por Antonín Dvořák, quién influenciado por estas obras, se inspiró para componer su serie de Danzas Eslavas.
