This is a piano arrangement of the beautiful Irish ballad "It was down by the Sally Gardens" with lyrics by the famous poet William Butler Yeats. The song speaks about broken love and lost youth.
My piano arrangement uses simple popular harmonies to let enough room to the beautiful Irish tune. The piece is rather easy to play (level 2-3), but develops a nice sound, and is really fun to learn and perform!
