These are the first two movements of Temple Canyon Suite, a set of five pieces originally scored for classical guitar. These pieces were inspired by beautiful locations in the mountains of Colorado. Performance time for these two pieces is 7 minutes. These piece project a dark mood. The titles are in Latin and translate to Leaving Home  and Heavy Heart.
