"Garota de Ipanema" is a Brazilian song of bossa nova and MPB. It was composed by Antônio Carlos Jobim and his lyrics were composed by Vinicius de Moraes in 1962. The first commercial recording took place in the same year, by Pery Ribeiro, and an English version was written the following year by Norman Gimbel. This is an arrangement for string quartet written for intermediate / advanced level musicians. Enjoy.
