Composed by William Monk. Arranged by Joseph Ittoop. Classical. Score and parts. 10 pages. Songburd Music #291786. Published by Songburd Music (A0.683068).

Abide With Me is a traditional hymn written by Henry Francis Lyte in 1847, and is most commonly set to the melody “Eventide” composed by William Henry Monk. This arrangement is set to Monk’s melody by using the unique sounds of the string quartet (two violins, viola, and cello), creates a picture that is both serene and sentimental. This piece was arranged for the ATLYS String Quartet to showcase talented and innovative women performers. The ATLYS String Quartet is an all women chamber group world renown for their incorporation of modern performing techniques and programs music that is both “diverse and intriguing.”.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
