"Kissing You," a song originally written for a scene in Baz Luhrmann's feature film Romeo + Juliet where the title characters meet each other at a ball, was released both on the film's soundtrack and on the third studio album of its singer Des'Ree. This beautiful pared-down ballad (whose instrumentation features only the vocals, a pianist, and strings) earned Des'Ree critical acclaim, with many praising the emotional depth the song brought to the movie. Ever since its release, "Kissing You" has become a fan favorite and a very popular choice for weddings. This Cellobat arrangement for string quartet captures the beauty of the original, with layers of lush harmonies, a full range of dynamic intensity, the passionate melodic vocal line in the first violin, and the ethereal piano line in violin 2. Perfect for wedding ceremonies, receptions, proposals, vow renewals, solo & ensemble contests or any other occasion when your quartet wants to give your audience chills!
