Composed by Elmer Bernstein. Arranged by Catriona Melville-Mason. Contemporary. 11 pages. C Melville-Mason #6443637. Published by C Melville-Mason (A0.956606).

The march theme from The Great Escape, arranged for five-part mixed woodwind ensemble of 2 flutes, 2 B-flat clarinets and bassoon (or bass clarinet).

This piece has been classed as 'advanced intermediate', primarily because players are required to switch between different rhythm patterns confidently and often without support.  The upper flute part requires dexterity to play with accurate articulation at speed, but the remaining parts are not technically demanding.

This arrangement can be performed one-to-a-part or by a larger ensemble, with several players to a part.  An optional 'add-on' oboe part is also included.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
