Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Quintet - Level 5 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.942167

Composed by Paul Dukas. Arranged by Armin Terzer. Contemporary. 56 pages. Armin Terzer #5038105. Published by Armin Terzer (A0.942167).

This is an arrangement for woodwind quintet of the whole of Paul Dukas’ The Sorcerer’s Apprentice. Great for a French program, or any program (even just to raise eyebrows and wow the audience with virtuosity). The level of difficulty is advanced. It is definitely not for the faint-hearted, but great fun for an advanced quintet (with technique to spare). That said, most of the difficult passages for the high winds are the same as in the original orchestra version… Recommended "magical" companion piece: Christopher Healey's "The Journeyman Sorcerer" (www.sheetmusicplus.com/title/the-journeyman-sorcerer-digital-sheet-music/21667405).
