Celtic spirituality is intimately bound up with nature and the natural world. Christ's church is often likened to a tree with His people as its branches. In this text, Christ's-blessing infuses all life, from the strand ("stream") to the river to the sea. By its existence, all life praises Him, so it is right ("meet") that we also offer praise. Based on a Biblical text, this particular text comes from The Carmina Gadelica ("Gaelic Songs"), published in 1899, which were collected by Alexander Carmichael during his travels of the highlands and islands of Scotland as a customs and excise inspector. .

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
