As a result of these complexities, however, some of the chordal structures can present vocal challenges. In order to assist singers with a cappella performance, this arrangement avoids some of the modulations found in the original composition. Even so, the tight harmonies and advanced chords of this version will still require careful listening and tuning on the part of the singers. Additional challenges involve sections in which the lead part crosses over the tenor notes (X's) and occasions when the bass part assumes the melody. But rest assured, the end result of a well-rehearsed performance should be very much worth the effort. Please note: This is NOT a traditional Barbershop Quartet arrangement.
