Everyone gets to sing at least part of the melody at some point. Vocal ranges: Part I (Bb3-Eb5), Part II (Bb3-A4), Part III (F3-Eb4). The "whistling" sections may be sung on an "oo" and/or whistled by some singers. There are 4 solo options: two for Part I or II, and two for Part III. This arrangement works beautifully for middle school and 9th or 10th grade high school ensembles. Part III is especially appropriate for boys' changing voices. An acoustic guitar chart (with melody line, lyrics and chords) is also included, and may be used to add more "authenticity" to the performance. Anthony Giamanco is a member of ASCAP.
