This beautiful aria, from Johann Sebastian Bach's 'Birthday Cantata' for Herzog Christian zu Sachsen-Weissenfels, was originally scored for soprano solo, two flutes and continuo; this transcription works wonderfully well for violin solo and piano. This piece is also known by the title "Flocks May Graze Secure."
