As a young pianist in 1970 in New York City, I was asked to join The Original Piano Quartet, originally called The First Piano Quartet. That is, four pianists playing on four pianos. I wrote this arrangement for the ensemble and we performed it in our concerts. The level is advanced, but not very difficult --- each piano part has bravura-sounding passages in concerto style like Grieg, Rachmaninoff, and Tchaikovsky.
