Composed by Howard Blake. Arranged by Glenn Martin. 20th Century,Film/TV. Score and part. 6 pages. Cornelius edition #3411071. Published by Cornelius edition (A0.809160).

"Walking in the air"  is the song composed by Howard Blake for the 1982 film of the children's book "The Snowman."
The story is of the adventures of a young boy and a snowman who has come to life. They fly to the North Pole and "Walking in the Air" is the theme for their journey. Later at the party of snowmen the boy meets Father Christmas with his reindeer and is given a scarf with a snowman pattern.
In this arrangement the original boy soprano melody is taken by the flute and would be suitable for performance as an encore or a short church interlude.
Duration: 2:00
