Composed by Thomas Victoria. Arranged by James Haynor. Renaissance,Sacred,Spiritual. Score and parts. 17 pages. James Haynor #3602029. Published by James Haynor (A0.782219).

Tomás Luis de Victoria (sometimes Italianised as da Vittoria; c. 1548 – 27 August 1611) was the most famous composer in 16th-century Spain, and was one of the most important composers of the Counter-Reformation. Victoria was not only a composer, but also an accomplished organist and singer as well as a Catholic priest. However, he preferred the life of a composer to that of a performer.

" O Magnum Mysterium " written for four voices is a great example of his work and transcribes well for trombone quartet.

( Duration 3:47 )
