This piano solo arrangement of the popular spiritual "Deep River" flows quietly for the first half of the song, then transitions to a more upbeat section. The song concludes with a mellow, thoughtful feel as it repeats the gently flowing theme introduced in the beginning. This elegant arrangement is a valuable addition to the church pianist's repertoire. An optional repeat is included in case a longer instrumental interluded is desired.
