The score was completed in 1889, and is the second of his three ballets.
This arrangement for Bb clarinet with piano accompaniment of the marvelous Grande valse villageoise (a.k.a. The Garland Waltz) is maybe one of the most famous composition of Tchaikovsky used also in the Disney's film "Sleeping Beauty".
