By Gene Wilder. By Anthony Newley and Leslie Bricusse. Arranged by James Smith. Broadway,Film/TV,Musical/Show. 12 pages. Ensemble Llama Music #991182. Published by Ensemble Llama Music (A0.1408586).

"Pure Imagination" is a song from the 1971 film Willy Wonka & the Chocolate Factory. It was sung by Gene Wilder who played the character of Willy Wonka. Since its release, the song has been covered and remixed hundreds of times by a wide variety of artists. This arrangement honors many of the movie version's nuances, including an interlude in an odd meter, to add interest and capture the magic of the Chocolate Factory. It's scrumdidlyumptious - perfect for wind quintets looking for a lyrical ballad.
