Published by Stephen Sullivan Arts (A0.1386292).Originally called "Scopes" but without any connection to the Scopes Monkey Trials or to gun scopes, this entire piece was improvised over the course of part of a day, recorded to a high-end Yamaha keyboard I bought in the end of 2022, and then transferred to Sibelius, before being slightly adjusted in early 2024. I changed the title to "Between the Aisles" because there are bits and pieces of a lot of hymns and pop music excerpts, especially both Protestant and Catholic original hymns or bits of hymns. I'm originally Protestant but converted to Roman Catholicism at the age of 10, and have been around plenty of both perspectives and the people behind them. That's probably why this was in my head that day.
