Rhapsody for Clarinet and Piano (Reduction for Clarinet and Piano). John Carbon's Rhapsody was premiered in 1997 by clarinetist Doris Hall-Gulati with Gerard Schwarz conducting the New York Chamber Symphony in Avery Fisher Hall at Lincoln Center. A re-release of the recording (originally on MMC recordings) will be available soon on Zimbel Recordings. Favorably reviewed in the New York Times, the work has subsequently been performed by the American Youth Philharmonic.
