Zajc (1832 – 1914) was one of the most important Croatian romantic composers. He was an exceptionally profilic composer (he wrote mostly operas, operettas, musical comedies, cantatas, art songs and choral compositions), and is often called „the Croatian Verdi". Original Zajc's work is written for solo voice and organ, and this arrangement is it's adaptation for SATB quartet or mixed chorus (SATB voices) a cappella. The original key is F major (available in SATB and SSA version, too), and this arrangement is at E major. Duration: ca. 3:30.
