Composed by Giuseppe Verdi. Arranged by Scott S. Stewart. Opera,Standards. 8 pages. Scott S. Stewart #6504233. Published by Scott S. Stewart (A0.955865).

The Brindisi (drinking song), Libiamo ne’ lieti calici (Let’s drink from the joyful chalices) is the famous duet from the Italian opera La traviata (1853) by Giuseppe Verdi, and perhaps one of the best known opera melodies in all the operatic repertoire.  This ‘arrangement’ is a "practical performance arrangement" scored for (reduced to) soprano & tenor voices with piano accompaniment; its aim is to ease the work of the pianist not having to deal with the many necessary page turns.  It is in the original Italian text. Performance time: 2:31+
