This playful etude will show off your instrumental technique. Its unaccompanied melody is mostly scales and scalar patterns with a few broken triads. I have added many markings such as articulation, phrasing, and dynamics to provide a true test of your basic skills. An easy etude that provides a classroom or lesson challenge, yet has enough beauty and flourish that it can be used for performances.

The notes and rhythms are Easy, but I have marked it Early Intermediate because of the Allegro Moderato tempo, the 1 1/2 octave range, and the many markings to observe.
