Especially fitting to young choristers is the concluding aspirational declaration: “To all upon my way, day after day, let me be hope, be joy! Let my life sing!” Written for and performed on the 25th anniversary concert of the Azle, Texas, ISD All-City Elementary Choir (2016), newly revised (2023).
