Composed by Noel Gay and Ralph Butler. Arranged by Stewart J Wallace. Barbershop,Broadway,Comedy,Jazz,Musical/Show,Standards. 15 pages. Stewart J Wallace #935303. Published by Stewart J Wallace (A0.1350494).

This is a bright, breezy, and up tempo song originally recorded in 1932. Musically it is typical of the era, and would typically be used as music suitable for a quickstep or for tap dancing. The offensive lyrics of the original have been replaced with the amendment used in the 1984 revival of the show, "Me And My Girl", written by Stephen Fry. The arrangement is written for 2 voices and could be used in any combination of voice types, so feel free to adapt and see what works best in your situation. There is a simple piano accompaniment which can be embellished with other instruments, and a vocal score is included so that the singers can avoid juggling with lots of pages.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
