Amazing Grace is a Christian hymn published in 1779, with words written by John Newton, a slave trader who became an abolitionist after his spiritual conversion. With a message of forgiveness and redemption, it is one of the most recognizable songs in the English-speaking world. It is estimated that Amazing Grace is performed 10 million times annually.

About the composer: Brenda Dillion is best known for her contributions to the Recreational Music Making movement.  She also presents group piano and RMM sessions throughout the U.S. As well as serving as as a teacher trainer, she has written extensive articles on both group piano and RMM teaching.
