Composed by Camille Saint-Saens. Arranged by Kristin Nakagawa. Instructional,Romantic Period. Individual part. 5 pages. Kristin Nakagawa #5988383. Published by Kristin Nakagawa (A0.1016936).

These are the 2nd movement studies of the Saint-Saens Clarinet Sonata. These studies were designed for the high school clarinet student preparing for the 2020-21 HS California All-State Auditions.

Each drill is designed to target a common clarinet issue that a player may encounter when working on the solo part. Instructions for how and why to practice each drill are included. The drill is then followed by the actual passage so that the player can immediately see and apply the concept to the solo piece.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
