Composed by Raffaele Marcellino. 20th Century,Concert,Praise & Worship,Sacred. Octavo. 8 pages. Serenissima Pty Ltd #4337777. Published by Serenissima Pty Ltd (A0.1027855).

DAWN DESIDERATA was commissioned by the Sydney Philharminia Choirs for the 2009 Sydney Festival for the Dawn Awakenings events.

Program Note: The text is adapted from Max Erhmann's Desiderata, which for years was thougth to be an anonymous 18th century text found by accident in a New England Church.  The work is intended as a gentle whisper to the ear of the community in its daily awakening of what is increasingly a complex world, saturated with with information and knowledge. So much so that truth, reason, emotion, lies, rhetoric, verbage, lay tanlged, undifferentiated and completely accessible to all.

Run time 3:32. Registered with APRA/AMCOS
