Composed by Max Bruch. Arranged by Ralph Sauer. 20th Century,Romantic Period. 110 pages. Gordon Cherry #842258. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.1247705).

Max Bruch composed Eight Pieces, Opus 83 for Clarinet, Viola and Piano in 1908. They are highly romantic pieces written expressly for his son Max Felix, a talented clarinetist. In order to enable the work to be played more widely, Bruch arranged the clarinet part for violin and the viola part for cello. This edition has been brilliantly arranged by Ralph Sauer for two euphoniums and piano and is appropriate for advanced performers. The solo parts are all in bass clef.

This major chamber work is 38 minutes in length and is a great addition to the Euphonium repertoire.
