There He would organize His servants to preach His gospel to those who had died without a knowledge of it. It was the beginning of His role as the first fruit of the resurrection. Jesus Christ is the Savior and Redeemer of all mankind. When the Jews crucified Him they thought that they were putting an end to He who would be God. They thought that by killing Him they would be in control of the people. They had no idea that they were fulfilling the prophecy that they would kill their own God. They gave Him the opportunity to use His power over death to redeem all mankind. His end truly was His beginning. By dying he was living the life He had planned.
