Composed by Nancy DeVries. Arranged by St Raphael's Psaltery. Christian,Christmas,Sacred. Score. 3 pages. Nancy DeVries #6537817. Published by Nancy DeVries (A0.964559).

"Creator of the Stars of Night" (Conditor alme siderum) is a piano setting and interpretation of a centuries-old Gregorian chant hymn of the same title which is usually sung during Advent. As it anticipates Christmas, this work conveys a sense of quiet joy mixed with deep longing for the Savior's coming expressed in a memorable theme and colorful but solemn harmonies. Advanced intermediate level - not too difficult, but some challenges re: key changes, accidentals, and octave work. Suitable for church, recital, or home use during Advent, Christmas or Ordinary Time of the church year.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
