The piece follows an individual from confusion and anger, to hearing God's voice assuring him, "Peace, be still," followed by a sense of enlightening and acceptance. While the storm is still raging at the end (represented in the left hand accompaniment), a new-found peace triumphs (represented by the melody in the right hand).
This is an intermediate/ difficult level piece, written in the key of A flat major, with LOTS of accidentals and naturals.
