Composed by Irish Folk Song. Arranged by Mark R Lewis. Celtic,Folk,Irish,Sacred,Standards,Traditional. Octavo. 9 pages. Mark R Lewis #650074. Published by Mark R Lewis (A0.1045497).

This ancient Irish text has been arranged by Mark R Lewis for baritone solo with 4 part men's harmony and optional bass handbells. The text is an old Irish poem and was translated by Mary E. Bryne in 1905. The tune is old Irish folk tune. The Baritone solo line is not too difficult though it does push towards the high end of the baritone range. The choir parts are not difficult at all and the optional handbell line is playable by one person but will be a challenge. If more than two people share the handbell part, it will not be difficult for them. Vocal range: Key of F Major Baritone solo - 1+ octave (C3 to F4) Tenor 1 - 1 octave (E3 to D4) Tenor 2 - 1 octave (E3 to C4) Bass 1 - 1 octave (C3 to F3) Bass 2 - 1 octave (F2 to F3) Handbells: F3, G3, A3, Bb3, C4, D4.
