It is decidedly traditional and "hymn-like" in style, but there is considerable variety in the instrumentation and in the sources of rhythmic pulse that move the piece along, so that, although it is repetitive, it never becomes boring. This arrangement spans the dynamic spectrum, from soft and introspective to bold and majestic, from tone that is rich and deep to colors that are shimmering and pristine. This piece is easy to learn, and begs to be treated with a high level of musicality, though it is not technically demanding.
