Composed by Josef Gabriel Rheinberger. Arranged by Bradley Palmer. 20th Century,Classical,Romantic Period. Score and parts. 10 pages. Gordon Cherry #4821609. Published by Gordon Cherry (A0.792421).

Josef Rheinberger was a prolific composer , eminent teacher and was one of the last of the European composers who had employment as a "court musician".

Originally published as a six part choral setting in 1873, the text from Abendlied (Evening Song) is taken from Luke 24:29: "Bide with us, for evening shadows darken, and the day will soon be over."

Bradley Palmer has transcribed this heavenly work of 3 minutes in length for six Trombones, bringing out the beautiful spiritual nature of the music.

For intermediate performers. Some parts are in Tenor clef.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
