Monteverdi's Lamento d'Arianna was first composed in 1614 as a five-voice madrigal. He reworked it a few more times over the years, showing up eventually as a sacred hymn. iTromboni have arranged this gorgeous melody for five trombones playable by moderately advanced performers.
