Woodwind Ensemble,Woodwind Trio Clarinet - Level 5 - Digital Download

SKU: A0.982519

Composed by George Gershwin. Arranged by Laura Haley Walker. 20th Century,Folk,Jazz. 20 pages. Laura Haley Walker #6642751. Published by Laura Haley Walker (A0.982519).

A thoughtful reduction and adaptation of the original orchestral score, for a trio of soprano clarinets. Gershwin's scoring works very well for just three voices -- so the playful detail and feel of the piece is nicely maintained.

In this arrangement, the melody is distributed across the three voices, so that all three parts are important and interesting. A few sections of the original piece are removed, a key signature changed, and a few other thoughtful minor modifications made so that this arrangement is very playable on clarinet.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
