Woodwind Ensemble Alto Saxophone,Baritone Saxophone,Soprano Saxophone,Tenor Saxophone - Digital Download

SKU: A0.758971

Composed by Hector Berlioz. Arranged by Timothy J. Olt. Romantic Period. 126 pages. Olt Music #2893627. Published by Olt Music (A0.758971).

Based on the novel Rob Roy by Sir Walter Scott, this overture is a true tour de force. This will prove a great challenge to any sax ensemble, and will also please the audience.

This work is scored for an unusual instrumentation for a sax ensemble. The work calls for 2 soprano, 2 alto, 2 tenor and 2 baritone saxes, but is actually divided into 2 sax quartets. This is to allow for use as a side-by-side work for student and professional ensembles.

There is also an optional timpani part.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters. ArrangeMe allows for the publication of unique arrangements of both popular titles and original compositions from a wide variety of voices and backgrounds.
