Composed by Johann Sebastian Bach. Arranged by Nancy Frese Tabb. Christmas,Classical,Contest,Festival,Sacred,Wedding. Score. 10 pages. Nancy Frese Tabb #842206. Published by Nancy Frese Tabb (A0.1247652).

Bach's Prelude in C (BWV 846) is arranged as a duet for two oboes complete with Piano accompaniment.  While the piano part stays true to the original version, the oboes are playing a complementary harmony to accompany the beautiful sounds of JS Bach.  The Piano part is slightly challenging, but the oboe parts are easily learned in just a few rehearsals.  In addition, this piece is transposed to the key of concert F Major for easier accessibility.  This is a great piece for student performances or contests and is appropriate as well for weddings or church services.
