By Mike Strand, ASCAP

This is a lead sheet for a swing ballad, with chord symbols and guitar fret boards, for a small to large jazz ensemble and solo instrument.  It thus serves as the foundation for a variety of arrangements, contra facts, and improvisations.

The audio sample is an iReal Pro swing ballad accompaniment combined with the tune from Finale PrintMusic -- a jazz quartet arrangement.

A piano solo version of Settle for Kettle for an intermediate student is also available on this web site.

During the Covid-19 pandemic in early spring 2020, it was good to go for a walk, enjoy the sights, then return home and settle with a cup of tea or coffee or other favorite beverage.  Settle with Kettle is music that lends itself to comfort and contemplation.

This product was created by a member of ArrangeMe, Hal Leonard’s global self-publishing community of independent composers, arrangers, and songwriters.
