Composed by Richard Redhead. Arranged by Terry M. Forsyth. Christian,Easter,Instructional,Romantic Period. Score. 3 pages. Forsyth Publishing #6113045. Published by Forsyth Publishing (A0.932690).

For Maundy Thursday, this composition uses meter 5:4 and the same notes of Eb key but the E and A are raised resulting in a modal key by keeping only Bb.  Composition is based on idea when at Gesthemane He looks at his humanness while contemplating please let this cup pass.  The restatement of the melody addresses if Jesus should say yes to His Father's direction, this is his death march by the presentation of the pedal line. Keeping the repeating, constant pedal line (flute 8') movement together in this unusual meter is the challenge of this piece.  Used during holy week.  Tune name:  "Redhead".
