Published by Martyn Johnson (A0.1302417).I originally wrote this as a song with lyrics. Most of my songs have become piano instrumentals over the years and this is one of those. It's really a ballad but has a little interlude of stride piano in the middle.
I haven't included fingering, pedalling or dynamics leaving these to the individual player as no two piano teachers ever agree on these. I have included chord symbols which I always find useful when learning a piece.
Please note this is a piano solo and I haven't notated the other instruments that are on my YouTube video but it works really well as a piano instrumental.
It's sort of a pop song/ballad but has some classical-style fills and some slightly jazzy chords.
As one of my earliest compositions I am rather proud of it. I have elaborated on it in my YouTube video but it is not too difficult to play and I hope you have fun playing it.
