It is accessible to a beginner as to a more advanced player wishing to improvise upon the skeleton musical lines provided in the score. As part of the Farnbank Easy Piano Collection this piece despite its minimalism can provide enough material for an enthusiatic learner to develop their performance from a strictly single-notes-per-hand format to an improvisory one. As a unique feature in this collection small notes in the score may be omitted from the early stages of learning the peice. This should not lose too much effect. but as teh student becomes more confident s/he may add more and more fo the small notes at will to enrich the experience of further learning and performance.
Other opportunities are possible whereby the piece may be performed with other instruments (chord symbols are given) and/or maybe sung to with several voices following notes given in the piano score, such that each performance may be a different from any other.
