By Anastasia Kareva. By Julie Carter. Arranged by Julie Carter. Celtic,Contest,Festival,Film/TV,Folk,Irish,March. Score. 7 pages. Songs of Humanity #713292. Published by Songs of Humanity (A0.1111022).

A super patriotic New Zealand song in the style of a Scottish march. With a great Scottish heritage, New Zealand has many geographical similarities to Scotland, such as highlands and lakes. Heather can be found growing on New Zealand highlands, so too, wild deer have a strong presence. Such similarities feature in the song which has that unmistakable Scottish swagger derived from a pounding beat. The intro, incidental parts in the chorus and the outro, all feature bagpipes. Thus, all in all, the song can be described as a down-under Scottish March.
