It reached the top 30 in Australia, Canada, Ireland, New Zealand, and the United States The other co-writer was Dan Nigro, who is also listed on the album notes as producer, vocal producer, songwriter and engineer; contributing further by playing drums, acoustic guitar, electric guitar, bass and synthesizer. Lacy is about an obsession with the allure of an eponymous, presumably female, figure from a time that Rodrigo described as "lots of confusion, mistakes, awkwardness & good, old-fashioned teen angst". Aren’t you the sweetest thing On this side of Hell This arrangement for string quartet is a relatively straight-forward idiomatic transcription in the same tonality as the original recording, so you could even play along with it for fun. The level is on the easier side of “advanced”; quickly rehearsed by professional quartets and an accessible challenge for experienced students.
